Rodrigo Carrizo Couto

The founder of RCC Projects Switzerland, Rodrigo Carrizo Couto, is a photographer, videographer, and journalist, a member of the Swiss Professional Register (RP|BR), and the International Federation of Journalists (FIJ).

He began his career in communication with reportages in the Soviet Union in 1989, where he studied international relations and Russian language at Moscow State University (MGU). Since then, he has worked for several press agencies, publications, and independent documentary projects. In 2003, he initiated a long collaboration (of over 16 years) with "El País," the leading Spanish reference daily, covering political, social, economic, and cultural events in Switzerland. Since 2008, he has regularly contributed to the online magazine Swissinfo of SRG-SSR (Swiss Broadcasting Corporation).

His photos, articles, and interviews have been published in magazines and newspapers in Europe and America. He has also worked in the field of media relations for the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETHZ) and for several international organizations based in Switzerland.

Rod works today in collaboration with an excellent team of independent professionals, experts in areas ranging from graphic design and sound engineering to specialists in online positioning, composers, and copywriters.
